This is usually followed by the man of the house or the friendly male know it all neighbor giving it a tweak or two in order to “fix it”. As is rather obvious, this does not work no matter how many times you try and the end result is usually worse that the initial situation. The plumbers around us are usually taken for granted even after hey fix the problem until the next issue crops up.
